Halo 2-- has leaked onto the Internet nearly four weeks before its planned sale date.

The pirated copy of Halo 2 was a French language version that could be downloaded and burned onto a DVD disc.

ok, now it is really out, last nite i was watching tv and they showed some people in Times Square New York lining up for the game. There were guys dressed in the halo suit, it was pretty funny, and there was a 17 year old waiting with his mom cause the game cannot be purchased by minors. The people lining up with costumes reminds me of when people wore costumes to go watch StarWars or StarTrek...not that I'm knocking those movies or TV shows, they are good :)

Just played last night when it was just released. Its a great game, supposed to be the greatest video game ever and will break all sales records. Game wise, I liked the new maps, new weapons and new tricks. They took out some neat features from before though but also added some in too. There are a lot more choices in terms of setting up your game and choosing your characters. I won't ruin the game for you so go and play it!!

I heard the lineups at EB were crazy....I pre-ordered mine at Blockbuster and had no problems (I was the first!) getting my copy......I LOVE IT! Especially using the sword..keke......maps are crazy and will take me sometime to get use to....
