COORS LIGHT MAXIM ?

Anybody ever played in 1 of these tourneys that they have? I know 102.1 the edge has a tourney every year at Angus Glen. I would do anything to get into 1 of these events. Anybody have an inside way of getting in. The chances of getting 1 of those talking Coors Light cans are slim. Thanks :help:

i played in the Playboy Scramble two years ago at Lionhead. the round took about 7 hours and was really just a frat party on the golf course...i think we ended up taking about 200 pics that day...but man was that a lot of fun!!!!

Well I just got a call tonight from 102.1 The Edge...seems I won a trip to the Maxim Coors Golf Experience in Vancouver and I can bring w/ 2 friends!

I am pretty damned psyched about this right now and the pics and youtube vids I have seen of the thing make me all the more excited!

Question for those who have worked where they held the event.
They asked me on one of the forms I have to fill out if I have my own clubs (and if my guests have their own clubs).
Now I wonder how I should answer that question as I do not know if I want to bring my clubs owing to the fact I do not have a (hard or soft) travel case for them and I know airlines only guarantee the clubs against damage if you have a hard case.
Do they want this info because the golf course is going to be renting us clubs and they want to know how many sets to have on hand? That is what I would assume but I am just wondering....

Been a little while but I thought I would share my joy with my fellow Nuts in the form of some pics from the Golf Experience

Had an awesome time at the event but for anyone who is ever lucky enough to go to one of these events DON'T bring your clubs! I lugged mine from Toronto to Vancouver and between myself and my buddies we MAYBE took 20 swings all day between the 3 of us (although there were some people there who we noticed were actually playing the course).
