I'm contemplating buy a used set of Nike Pro Combo Tour irons. Do ALL the irons have a serial # laser engraved on it (I think it is on the hosel) or just the #8 iron (like Callaways).

Anyone here play this set and have comments ?

This was one of the sets I was contemplaying over when I was looking for new irons. I liked the fact that they could offer forgiveness in the long irons and blades in the short irons. Unfortunately when I discovered Titleist forged irons, they lost their spot in the competition. I still think they would be a great iron, though. They're not bad looking either

I've owned 2 sets over the past couple of years and really like them. However, like the poster above I fell in love with some Titleist forgings and haven't looked back.

If memory serves, the serial number is only on the hosel of one iron. It's either the 8 or 6 I think?

I checked my set. All irons have a same serial # laser engraved. I started using the set this year and just love it.

They were on my very short list when I was looking to buy in the fall.

Ultimately, took a pass due an aesthetic reason...figured that the matt finish on the back of the clubs would look chewed up pretty quickly.

Instead, I have a set of clubs that look great---and with which I have hit some of the ugliest shots ever!
