This is a long shot, but worth a try. My van window was smashed and two sets of clubs were stolen Thursday night.
If anyone happens to come across any of the clubs below I would appreciate a PM
Thanks

That sucks man, sorry to hear.
When we played the practice round at Bond Head I reported a smashed window on an SUV....perhaps smash & grabs are becoming common at courses.
Keep an eye on Ebay.

Sorry about your clubs.
Not sure what kind of vehicle you have...if it's a newer type, then you should consider a 2 way paging car alarm system. I have a combo unit (with remote starter for those minus 40 deg winters) from Compustar. Installed cost five years ago was around $650 in a small city. I am sure that it would be cheaper in the big cities....probably $500-$600? Like most car electronics, it's all about the install....so get one installed by a well experienced and qualified mobile electronic specialist. Compustar and Viper are both well regarded in this category.

Thanks, I will watch ebay just in case.
My van window was smashed right in my driveway, we were sleeping with the window open right above the driveway, did not hear a thing.

That sucks dude, sorry to hear about your loss.
I had a set of clubs jacked from my car a few years back, and since then I will NEVER EVER leave them in the car overnight. Let this be a lesson learned to anyone reading this thread!
I hope insurance comes through for you.

I wouldn't go through car insurance for this one....they'll be extremely difficult to deal with, given your car was parked in the driveway and you neglected to bring the clubs in.
I'd say try your home insurance first....given the car was parked in the driveway. I had an incident some 10 years ago, was at the gym and took my bracelet off, put in inside the ashtray and closed the lid. Came out of the gym, drove all the way home and forgot about the bracelet. That same night, someone broke into my car and took everything they could find out of it, including the bracelet. Car insurance were very difficult to deal with.....so we opted to go through the home insurance and they didn't even flinch.

It does not matter whether your clubs were stolen from your car, a public golf course bag drop area, a private club storage facility, you put your claim through your house insurance. You would however have to pay the deductable. However, if you pay an extra rider for golf clubs only, and provide a list of clubs, then you can get full replacement value. This is especially good for those who paid $600 - $800 for drivers alone and now they are worth only half the price.

The golf club claim will go through my house insurance. The smashed window is on my car insurance. Same insurance company. The information I started this thread with is the listing I gave the insurance company. I am supposed to have replacement insurance. We will see. My first preference would be the exact clubs I just lost. It took me a while to build that set. I was finally happy with the entire bag. The insurance should be interesting, I have never made a claim before.
BTW, the second set was my son's, he is not as picky as me, as long as they are a brand name and shiny he is happy.
