My first (and maybe ever) HOLE-IN-1!

After 5 years of golfing and about 150+ rounds, IT finally happened on me yesterday! :p

I was on my family trip to Montreal and playing the 3rd round in 3 days:D it's at the 10th hole on Le Riviera GC. It's 148 yards, back hole location and with strong wind on the back :eek: I decided to hit an 8-iron and pitch the ball into air and let the wind carry it - it lands short of the hole and right side of the green :( however it took a left bounce onto the green and started rolling toward the hole... after 20-30 feets it disappeared and I thought it rolled over a ridge and passed the hole :mad: I was expecting a decent birdie putt :rolleyes:

It feels a long walk to the hole and one of friends said "it's in the hole!" I didn't believe him (whom also said "I also heard the sound when it felt into the cup!";) ) As we get closer, there's no sign of my ball on the green and my heart start pumping :hush: Me and other friend ran toward the hole and found my ball in it! :) What an undescriptable feeling! :eek: :rofl:

I feel totally LUCKY about this and it's gonna be hard to convince my friends to believe me! :D :rofl:

I have been playing for 21 years now and still do not have one. :$

I have seen them happen and I can say the excitement of seeing happen is a big rush, let alone making one.

Like many, I have been close many, many times. I have been playing golf for over 30 years, with a good part of the in the 1-5 handicap range.
