Just look at my picture of Tanner under my name. He is a Sheltie.
We also have a bunnie name Chloe. He turned out to be a boy.
We also have fish but I don't know what kind.

The only thing I need for pets is just 1 dog. Very partial to shelties.
Oh I had an artist paint Tanner for a portriat using water colour.

Thanks nearace. Tanner's demenour is absolutely outstanding.
We talk to him in full sentences. He understands a ton of words.

I put his baby / puppy picture on a pet voting website years ago. For 2 weeks his picture climbed the ranks to #9 in the World then dropped. At least he made 'Top 10'. He beats many Shelties per the annual calendar. He has never been in a ring or obiedence trained but very well behaved. We trained him ourselves without the formal doggie schooling. Spend a year training your dog and he will then be smart for the remainder of his life.

When we brought him home at 8 weeks, my wife put him in a puppy cage in our bedroom. Recommended by the breeder. He violently attacked the front steel door and she thought he would break a tooth. So she slept on the floor with Tanner for the 1st couple of nigths and he cuddled up from her heart to her neck, wanting to hear her heat beat. Later we would put him in the dog cage but this time without the top on, and then he was content. He just didn't want to be caged up. He was for 10 minutes then never again.

We have had other Shelties, but Tanner is real special to our family :D

Oh I forgot to add. Tanner has a ritual he does every night that is kinda cute. When my wife is ready to go to bed Tanner meets her at the foot of the staircase. He grabs her night gown by his mouth / teeth and he walks her up all 13 steps and takes her to the bedroom. He jumps 2 steps to her walking each one. Just like a little boy or girl holding your hand climbling the steps. He jumps on the bed for his cuddle then off again to join the rest of the family members. Tanner brings a lot of joy into our lives each day.

What is not to love about Tanner's daily ritual?

We have two cats.

One shows his love by putting a toy rat outside the bedroom door every morning. He's a bit of an idiot.

The other is an evil genius. He learned how to flush toilets (he loves to watch the water go down). We've had to start keeping the bathroom door shut.

He also loves to attack the DVD player when the tray opens, and to get an edge in this game, he's learned a few things. First, he learned which remote control we grab when we're going to use the DVD player. That was impressive on its own. But recently, he learned to recognize closing credits -- because he knows that when a movie ends, the DVD tray is about to slide open.

We're scared to find out what things he's figured out that we DON'T know about yet.

Haha, I'm under the understanding male bulldogs snort/drewl much more than the females. But yes, she does make a whack of noise. If she's upstairs in my condo (concrete floors) it sounds like she's sawing through the floor when she snores . She's also terrible in hot weather so she basically doesn't walk all summer because of the snorting and bad breathing.

She's got so much character I love her. I don't think I could ever get another breed of dog after owning her.
