I'm small in stature, (5'8", and 145lbs) and have a difficult time finding my size golf shirt (small ususally) at GT, and other retailers. However, often a medium shirt will fit great over the shoulders and chest but will be way too long (would make a nice summer dress if I was a lady). I prefer NOT to tuck in my shirts, and like my shirt to finnish just above pant pockets. Has anyone ever had a golf shirt shortened, and can you suggest a good tailor in the city of Toronto? Seriously. Thanks.

Korry's are getting into the more high end golf wear market, I am sure their tailors can help out.

Got any friends travelling to Hong Kong? If so, get them to stock you up. When I was in HK, the stuff off the rack fit me like it was tailored. I took XL there and I am a M in North American clothing.
The are also some designers who make more fitted clothing - Kenneth Cole, J. Lindeberg, Hugo Boss, Nike's Tiger Woods line. Stay away from old guy brands like Greg Norman.

Yeah, like the poster above - I've found the designer brands make more fitted clothing. I'm only 16, so I'm only around 5'7, and I've found Lacoste to be right on length-wise, and a good fit all around. Unfortunately the brands that are shaped well happen to be more expensive

Thanks for the advice...I have SOME nice shirts, but was just venting a little at the lack of choices...JL's are nice of course, but the price is too high for me. The Puma's fit like a glove and are under a hun, but not too many styles / colours to choose from. Guess I'll keep shopping, and maybe take a chance with Kory's, or bringing an Aurex to someplace like Threads for a re-hem.

Check out J.Lndeberg golf shirts. They are cut short and meant to be fitted.

Just wait til you hit my age, and you want the belly stretched and the sleeve diameter reduced...

Two options: (1) Find a brand that fits well. You're perfect for a Euro-sized medium, or as said above an Asian medium. In fact, only in NorAm would you really be a small! Find a cut that works for you. Or, (2) get a tailor to make some clothes to your measurements, or alter clothes you already have. There are many fairly cheap tailors in Toronto, but they're hard to find and often don't speak great English. However, with the right materials and measurements, they make great clothes.
