Marshall: Play another few holes?

So me and 3 friends go and play this course most recently and it's nearing the end of the day. I will leave out the name of the course to protect those involved. :D

We get buddy-buddy with the marshall and then he goes and tells us to go and play another few holes if we like after we finish our 18.

So we go back to the 10th tee when the OWNER of the course approaches us and asks us wtf we're doing? After a few apologies, he lets us go and play another few holes. Nice guy. :)

We didn't rat out the marshall tho and let him keep his job. Should we have? :mad:

Whats with asking WTF you're doing? Has he not seen golf before? Or does he think he should be paid again for a few extra holes at dark?
I wouldn't have ratted the marshal. Sounds like the only decent marshal in the biz.
