With all this talk about shaft frequencies, club building, etc, I've become really interested in learning more about this topic. Are there any recommended sites online where I can do a bunch of reading about this topic? Are there any places (like Golfsmith) which offer courses on the matter or books you would recommend?
Thanks!

You can sign up at GolfSmith Mississauga for their on-hands intro to clubmaking. It's free and you learn the very basics. They will give/send you a clubmaking instruction book as well at the end of the session.
Damn you Wayland.... LOL, you beat me to it.

There is also GolfWorks in Ottawa:

Probably a bit far for you to attend in person, but they have books and kits that can be ordered (and a Home Study program for their Clubmaking School).

This one is my own resource, so please forgive the self promotion. I hope I'm not violating any forum rules - if so, mea culpa. One of your members asked me to come here and post this one:

I took the course that Golfsmith offers and it is just that, a basic how-to with an instructor on club building. You can ask any questions you want or may have and will more then likely get a very good answer. It isn't free, or at least I had to pay for the parts of the club. COmes out to like $19.89 I think after taxes. Well worth the 2 1/2 hrs it took I think for starting out.
