Does anyone have experience with hosel shims? Looking to shaft up a fairway wood as an experiment and don't really want to buy a new shaft. Do these things work or is this a problem waiting to happen?

Used them before and they worked fine for me. Be sure to use a high quality epoxy and you should be fine. Good luck!

Same here...use the brass ones all the time without problems. Heck, one time I dismantled a three wood only the find the previous owner had used a string shim!

I remember seeing a pepsi can shim in an older TM Supersteel 3 Wood since older TM's (remember the bubble shaft) used an odd sized hosel. I hit it and it felt ok. Hey whatever works...
