Has anyone tried these. If I were a Callaway staff player I think I'd be playing these. Of coarse at least as a staff player you'd be relatively sure they'd be genuine Callaway. :p

Come on Will do a reality check and look in the mirror. Be honest with your inner feelings
You are not going to upgrade from your Nike Blades to Callaway Shovels

Great clubs IMO.That set looks like Charles Howell's and most Callaway staff players seem to be switching to those blades. Most Tour sets were forged by Endo, not sure if retail ones are.Much better looking than the previous model:cool:

the x-forged look great...i like the thin top line and the cavity is just enough. WAY better than the x-tours from 2006 which did look like shovels
as for play...haven't hit them...no opinion

I don't see the difference between those prototype X-Forged irons and the stock retail ones?

The pic was probably from when these irons were just a prototype and now they're in production.
Of coarse some will argue who forged the retail vs the prototype "tour" ones but I can't be bothered.
