I've been looking for a good coupon booklet or membership this year and I'm not too happy with the selections available. Most of the coupons book have great deals during the week, but the weekend when most play the deals just flat out suck. There are usually no weekend coupons for most courses, and if there is it's for a long-weekend only.

I read about Par Patrol a while back and heard it was worthwhile, but I tried their site and googling, it's like they've dissappeared. Anybody have more info on this? Did they change names? Also, if anybody has a golf book with valuable deals I'd be interested to know. Thanks

I know of quite a few people who use the Greenfee Passport book. No prohibitations on weekends, most of the coupons are buy one get one free, and the occassional buy 2 primetime greenfees and get a free cart.

It might be best to buy something like this with a regular playing partner, then you're splitting everything 50-50.

I know smartcircle sells coupons for my course door to door...restrictions are 10-3 M-F and after 12 on the weekends...all 2 for 1's and 1 complimentary pass...they also do advertising for other courses such as Royal Ontario and others (different deals)...check them out at www.smartcircle.com (http://www.smartcircle.com)

I'll look in to both, Smart Circle seems like a new idea that may work. I guess no one knows what did happen to parpatrol.
