I am assuming there is no driving range at this course?? If this is the case can advise the closest range to King's Forrest? We will be coming via QEW from Toronto. Thanks in advance!!:D

Correct there is no range, and there really isn't one that is easy to get to near the course.

Closest ranges are on Centennial Parkway at top of Mountain, but will be a pain to get to. Probably 15mins to KF.

I suggest taking 403 to Hamilton exit at HWY6 (Guelph) and go to Wedgewood (its basically right at the exit). Then get back on 403 and take Main St to KF

There is Pros Golf Centre which is at Hwy 20 just above Mud Street. After hitting balls there you can shoot across Mud Street and down Mount Albion right to Glendale. Since it has been a few years since I've lived in Hamilton, I'm assuming that Mud and Mount Albion still meet.

Wedgewood would likely work better than the ones on Hwy #20 as they are past the course.

Just remember that from Wedgewood you would likely go into Hamilton from Main St on the West side unless you drove all the way back around the bay.

He's going to King's Forest not Glendale. With Redhill Exp construction, getting from Glendale to KF for someone not from Hamilton would be brutal.

See, there's my lack of recent Hamilton experience. When I was in high school I had no interest in golf and didn't really know the locations. I thought that Glendale and King's Forest were across the street from each other. Looking at the Google satelite I see that's not the case. The new expressway is running pretty much between the two isn't it?

I used to own a house right between Glendale and Kings Forest....they are probably only 5-600 yards apart....there just isn't a road that crosses the "forest".

Right now Mt Albion Rd is closed for a mile or so above King St so coming down the mountain that way would mean going over to Quigley Rd. Prolly would take 10-15 minutes from Glendale to Kings Forest.

I'd practice in Burlington or Oakville on my way in personally if I was coming from the GTA.

I went to Newman and finished Grade 13 in 1983. Gee, that was a long time ago!
