Is it just me or does it always seem like Golf Town never reallly have any good "sales" I mean their prices are always the same. The only "Sales" they really have is when they want to get rid of their old line of stuff and even then everything is left handed :(

Huh?? Since when do you ever see "new" items on a "sale" anywhere? Which Golf Town do you go to that has all left handed stuff for sale? You may find all lefties in the clearence demo bin, but hardly on a promoted "special buy"

I was just down at NB's downtown and for women's clothing everything is 20% off. I saw some signs in the men's wear for 30% off but I don't know if that was everything or select clothing.

Both are the last place I would buy golf clothing. Can almost always find a decent selection in Winners and if you venture to the US check an outlet Mall for either Izod of Hagger. picked up 3 pair of golf slacks at Hagger in Myrtle last mont for $20 a pair.

Sadly enough Winner's has no idea that women play golf! :(

Besides GT and NB's I haven't found any really good stores with women's golf clothing. There's the Nike store and Addidas outlet stores but usually the selection isnt the best.

Any ideas?

My wife just picked up two Nike Golf outfits at Winners in Oakville. Takes a lot of looking I suspect.

Maybe it's slow to hit Toronto, I've looked through the Winners at College Park and Bloor st - nothing at either one!

From my own experience, if you like modern styling and high tech material (moisture wicking etc), plus save yourself a bundle, you are better off head over to the tennis wear department.

For example, Nike Fri-Fit golf shirts sell for $90+ while Dri-Fit tennis shirt sell for ~ $60.

The Winners at Markville has a lot of golf stuff in men's. I saw some nice Tiger shirts there for $60 and a tonne of mock necks.

Also saw a decent Ogio bag there for $99 as well.

If you want stylish golf clothing or sportswear in general there is only one place besides GT. It's Sporting Life. (Yonge+Eglinton, Sherway Gardens) They have tons of selection by all the best brands. A little pricey, but the selection is great and they always have a couple of racks of sale stuff. Because they carry so much, they always have a huge amount on sale. I guess they need to clear out the space. The tennis clothing suggestion is right on. It's the same thing really.

I've never found anything worth buying at the Ancaster Winners. Apparently the GTA stores are better stocked.
