No one here seemed to excited for Woody. I was happy to see him win. He is an excellent golfer who struggles with the mental sid eof the game.

Very bad temper. Anyone remember him breaking a putter shaft over his head 10 years back at a Buick tournament I think? Left a putt 12 feet short when in contention.

Great win for a guy who has stuck it out for years after working in a drug store as a stock boy and as a bankteller in Tampa area I believe.

I am glad he has the win !! It is too bad that so far all he is remembered for is breaking his putter... supposedley he was having a very bad year back then.. I heard that he was dealing with some family loss.. add that to the stress of the PGA tour and even the best of us can get a little rattled!!

But good for him!! I love seeing a grinder pull one out!!! so much money out there on tour right now it is nice to see it spread out!!

So true. Below is a link to a good article on Woody and his win. Self proclaimed most nervous player on tour. One thing is for sure, Woody proves tempo equals big distance!

Poor guy has only made 9.6 million in his career. lol

A real-grinder, good solid player, but not a 'pretty boy'....reminds me of Frank Lickliter! :)
