I heard on TSN that this is a "rumour" going around. Apparently, Tiger's driver is causing him problems and Hank Haney hasn't been able to help him as much as he'd like. Anyone know if there's any truth to this?

I heard these rumblings at the Masters.

Not bashing Tiger here but I think he never should have left Harmon.

Haney has never really impressed me to be honest.

I agree.....apparently MRs. Woods had a personality conflict with Butch, so maybe Tiger did to keep her happy. Woods has never been as good off the tee since the 1st swing change he made with Butch, so there you go.

I also agree that he should maybe think about switching drivers. He has never hit it as accurately as he did with his old Titleist. IF Tiger could ever get his driver issues resolved I think it would almost be unfair for the rest of the field.

As Tiger said yesterday, all the famous names who have won at Oakmont were accurate off the tee. It will be interesting to see how Tiger does as I think he really wants to win on this course.

Tiger would probably win more tourneys (if that's possible) without his driver, just using his 3 wood.

I agree. Tiger should swallow his pride and go back to Butch... and also play the Sumo 2 Square. :D :D :D :D That'll get him to hit fairways again.

With Haney, Tiger's iron/wedge game has improved a great deal - more accuracy and distance control. True indeed, his driver is a struggle but I'm not sure going back to Butch would be an option nor do I think it would really help - its like going backwards instead of forwards IMO. An equipment change may be in order.

Have to disagree with you there. Butch had Tiger shorten his swing. 2000 to 2002 Tiger had complete control of his irons, long and short. Maybe I am wrong but really nothing has been better but only worse.

His swing often looks very different from one shot to the next as compared to then and he seems to be back to moving his head alot. He holds on now through impact more then ever. Just what I see.
