Does Thundering Waters have a driving range? I'm playing there in the next couple days and wanted to know if I should go somewhere else to hit some balls before the round.

under the membership tab it says the use of partice facilities on the day of round so I would assume they do. Call to course to confirm

Yes, but it's short (i.e. No Driving!)

it seems kind of odd that a golf course designed by one of the games biggest hitters would offer an iron only range...

Blue, tell me how it goes (conditions, service and such) I've been meaning to play at thundering waters but heard too many negative reviews. The pictures on the site look great, its making me want to try this out.

The course was in decent shape. Couple of the tee boxes were rock hard to the point where I couldn't stick the tee into the ground. I found the greens to be inconsistent in speed and in not the greatest of shape. The service was good and pace of play was good and unless you are very accurate I would bring lots of balls :) Some shots I hit into the fairway that rolled into the tall grass that is found on some of the holes were lost. Most of the tee shots better be dead straight as there is no room to miss on either side on some of the holes.
Overall I can't complain too much as I had a 2 for 1 at local twilight rate with cart that came out to $52 all in for both of us :)

Care to share where you got that deal?

I used my Privigled Play 2 for 1 coupon and we got the local rate since we live in the area.
