Recently I popped up few of my driver way high and it goes about 100yds...

I never had this problem before. When it hooks or slices I sort of know what I did wrong but I have no idea what to fix when I pop it up. Can anyone please let me know how to fix this?

Popping drives is often the result of coming into the ball at too steep an angle, try to level the path of the clubhead coming into the ball.

Greywolf is right .. too steep. Widen your stance, check ball position and keep the ball inside your left shoulder (assuming your right handed). take the club back low and slow keeping your left arm fully extended both in the backswing and the forward swing.

Good Luck.

Agree. Seems you're too steep. Take it back low and slow. Imagine sweeping the ball off the tee as opposed to traping it like an iron.

And check for sky (scuff) marks on the top of your club. Usually a dead giveaway that you're too steep.
