Well in relation to the other thread...
I was playing Georgetown (Now Eagles Nest) and it was the 4th hole i believe that comes back up the hill once you're in the valley portion. The tee shot is uphill and tree lined. I cranked my drive up the hill but pushed it a bit too much. Hit's a tree dead centre, starts bouncing along the cart path back towards the tee boxes and right back past us. Net drive was about -15 yards. Total ball travel about 250 yards.
Also heeled a drive between my legs in to a water hazard behind me at Silver Lakes but that's another story.:help:

I played a match play against a guy who hit his tee shot on the first hole, popped it up and hit the cart path which sloped back to us, it bounced back past us and went in the pond BEHIND the tee box.
We all scratched our heads as to where he should drop but in the end agreed it should be 3 off the tee, stupid thing is I eventually lost the match, he had a great short game and made every putt under 10feet with a 30 HCP.

i have an unrepeatable shot. I hit a drive dead straight into a tree roughly 35 yards in front. the ball rebounded back toward us at the tee box and came to a stop next to my tee that was still in the ground.

was playing sylvanglen and got on the first tee straight from the car, tee'd up and made a big swing. no one in my group could tell where my ball went. So i bent down to pickup my tee, it wasnt there, behold, my ball was 3 inches in the ground much to everyone amazement (yes, the tee boxes were very soft and wet), never did get the tee out tho...

I was playing with a couple buddies of mine @ winchester.
We have a rule that if you don't pass the ladies tee, you have to take your next shot with your pants down.
I had lead and went on to top the ball and have it fall 2 feet short of the ladies tees, which was about 20 yrds ahead...
the next player up couldn't stop laughing and ended up fall short also.
long story short, NOBODY got past the ladies tees.
THANK GOD!!!

hooked one into the side rails at Woodbine the very first time we played it. The sucker came back through our group on family jewels level. I think it was a 40 yard negative.

On the opposite side, I hit my tee shot straight into the air where it came back down 1 yard way from the tee.

That exact thing happened to me as well. Came to a stop not 6 inches from my tee.

Last year had a new grip put on my driver at a "major" golf store. Two hours later was on the second tee and hit the worst drive of my life. The ball went out almost directly to the side not far from our carts.
My playing partners said they have never seen me hit a ball off the tee so poor. I just shook my head and could not believe it..........
Yes you guessed it.........My grip had slid almost an inch and half when I swung..........:( I went back to the golf store after the round. They apologized and corrected the problem. They gave me some explanation about the glue..............????
