Second try, golf near Delawana Inn

Hi, I asked this recently and got zero response so I'll try again. I'm going up to the Delawana Inn in Muskoka in August. Does anybody have info on courses in the area? Anything would help. I can't find anything online. Thanks in advance.

Did you try asking the staff at Delawana? They might have a better idea of what's available in the area. Sometimes resorts even have deals with nearby courses. Be sure to take your fishing rod, there's some excellent smallie action in that area.

I believe Bonaire is just down the 400 from Honey Harbour.
It has 3 nines and is pretty cheap with some good holes.
I have only played it once ( a long time ago ) and recall having a good time there - but can't really remember the holes at that well.
I pass it on the way to the cottage all the time.

If you have the chance - take a boat ride to Henry's on Sans souci island for their all-you-can-eat fish fry!!!

I stayed at the same place a few years ago...Delawana has their own executive nine hole course. Other than that, there's absolutely no full-sized golf course within short driving distance.

Bonaire GC is the closest nearby, but it is still about 30K away through country road.

I stayed there years ago and that was a significant drawback.... with all the cottage courses the Delewana area is really lacking. I do remember the food was good, my young kids (5 & 8 ) loved it and so did my spouse and I. They have tried to fill the void with an executive course since we went 5-7 years ago.

Dude, Bracedbridge is over 80k from the Delawana Inn.
