would i pay the full green fees to play this course - no, but it is a great course, i have played it a few times, but i think the greens fees are around $200 or so - i could play grey silo or a course like that twice for that price, i have played some $500 courses ( shadow creek) but the only course that i have played so far that i would actually pay $200 to play is bigwinn, - just my opinion, chris

I've played it twice. It's a nice course with quite a few good holes a couple great holes and quite a few so/so holes. I think it is definitely worth playing but it's not going to knock your socks off for the prime time price.

The only time to play the course is to play at on the w/end after 12 noon, it's approx. $125 with tax and cart plus range, very nice track.

Great course. One of my favourite. If you can get a deal or at least off prime rate ....Its definately worth playing once at then you can decide how you like it. Looking out to 9th and 10th hole from the clubs house is priceless view in my opinion.

I would never go back! The pro in the shop thought his sh*t didnt stink and the last 4 holes have run out room so they are almost running into 1 another. Very overrated and dissapointed.

How do you figure the last four holes are running out of room? There is plenty of space between them -- I can't fathom what golf course you must have been playing.

What the heck are you comparing this track to, how do you run out of room on the 18th!!, you have a problem on the other 3 holes if you can't hit the fairway!!, lots of room!!, the 17th is a great par 3. I have had nothing but good service, why do we always think it's the other person's shiiiiiiiiiiiit that doesn't stink. It's so easy to say the guy in the pro shop snubed me, sorry you had a bad time with the track but it's one of the nicer tracks that we can call so far public till CL takes it or it goes private.

i played this course with 3 friends. immediately infront of our group were 23 guys on a bachelor party, who seemed to be enjoying the drinking more than the golf. after 16 holes we had enough (it took about 5 hours and i had to pick up my wife at finch station).

the club pro not only apologized but gave us 4 vouchers for a free round. WHAT OTHER COURSE WILL DO THIS?

please don't judge this course by the personal perceptions of one person with limited experience at this track. i've played at least 10 times and nothing but top notch service.

Geez I'd rather the course did something about the slow players. Now we're holding bachelor parties on the golf course? Is golf about golf anymore?

if golf were about golf in North America, you'd be able to get around a track in 3 hrs. Instead you get the crap, "I paid my money to enjoy a day on the course". Add that up on a busy course and you have 5hr + rounds.

Then again, without concession sales, cart rental income, and corp tournaments, the already high GTA greens fees would be even higher.

to be honest, the starter, marshall (3 of them) tried to speed these guys up all day....they suggested the guys play a scramble, better ball, best ball, texas scamble, and then they apologized to us on at least 6 different occassions...and were on these guys' assess all day.

i couldn't expect more.

I can't stand the people who say ' I payed my money so I can take as long as I want.'

This is disgusting. Just like how you see people drive. Like they own the road.

Golf for Idiots book has the Ten Commandments of golf. NUMBER #1 is :

KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT or atleast stay ahead of the group behind.

Green is protected on the right by the pond. From the tips is a long way home to the green.

#18 is a par 5, pretty straight forward. Green is elevated and protected by bunkers.

The closest par 3 to the 18th hole is actually #14 (aka the killer). It's generally a 7 iron or 6 iron in around 175 yards. Shallow green protected on the front and right by water and on the back and left by bunkers and fescue.
The heavy winds and water can make this hole a pain in the arse.

by the way, green fees are not $200 (unless they jacked them this year from $155). Weekends are usually around the $100 mark.
