KING'S FOREST OUTING, SKINS RESULTS, PLEASE READ!!!!

Ok folks, here’s the scoop:

After Saturday’s game, there was quite a bit of confusion going on as to who the skins belonged to as some score cards were marked incorrectly, which made things difficult for those trying to break them up.

In the end, it was figured out and there was $50 remaining which we believe belonged to member john_q_220, but he had left for the day and we were not certain if he had in fact paid his $20 to play. I offered to take the $50 and contact him to get it sorted out.

After speaking with “Q” as he calls himself, it turns out that the only holes he birdied were 14 and 15, both of which were cutoff with birdies from other groups which canceled him out of the equation.

So seeing as it’s still a mess I’m NOT going to sit here and take the blame for something, especially when I was simply offering to deliver the money IF we could confirm that he contributed the $20 to play. It’s no skin off my back who get’s the money as I did not make a birdie to win any, but I still think it should go to whomever it really belongs to and at this point we don’t even know who that person is.

SO, at this point this is what I suggest….in the end I will leave it up to the people who won money at the skins game:

1: Keep the $50 that is sitting here in an envelope and carry it forward to the next skins match when everyone is present….

OR

2: The winners of last weekends skins game can have the $50 and divide it amongst themselves.

Please decide….I don’t want this cash sitting with me anymore as I can already feel the headache it’s going to cause.

14 was cutoff by Derek in our group and think there were a few others. When they were going though the cards, there were a few birdies on 15 as well.

At this point, I think we may need ALL of the players to indicate whether or not they birdied #15 or not.

I didn't......but I rimmed it for birdie so does that count? :rofl:

I played with Q. Yes, he paid his $20.00. He did birded 15 - the par 5. We thought that it will never stand up. If there is no one else who birdied this hole, it is only right that the money should be given to him. How you get it to him is between Scott and him. For $50.00 he might drive to Richmond Hill. Or, he will play in the next TGN outing and you can give it to him then.

Since I won a skin it's probably easy for me to say, but I'd vote for carrying it over to the next get-together (unless somebody claims it in the meantime).

I'm not questioning whether Q paid the $20 or birdied #15, I'm only asking if others who played that day birdies it as well as Q. When I was at the table and they were counting off the holes, #15 was mentioned as being cutoff and that's all I know.

If Q is the only one to have birdied #15, then the money rightfully belongs to him.

At this point, it's just too damn confusing for a fun game that I think I'm just going to mail the $50 to Q and be done with it.

All this from trying to just be a nice guy and make heads/tails of a confusing day in skins. :rofl:

i can't remember if i birdied 15 or not so let's just go with giving Q the money. I know i hit that green in 2, but i can't be certain i birdied that hole, i know i 3-putted one of the par 5's i hit in 2, so lets just assume its that one.
