I'm an early riser, and enjoy playing at around six or six thirty on Saturday mornings in the Brampton area, usually Peel village. I'm looking for a few people to join me...last time they stuck me with three Japanese tourists who didn't speak a word of english...anyway....leave a post, let's hook up

I am sort of in the same boat --- many of my friends don't play and those who have time constrictions ... Peel Village is great with me as I am in the Mississauga area. My only concern is that I am high-handicapper and I don't want to slow people down, so if people don't mind newbies... I'm in!;)

What I hate is when the guy who has been bugging you to play earlier in the day shows up late two rounds in a row... You know who you are ;)

NOT good.
My favourite friends to play with are the ones (when they ask you to pick them up) are waiting in the driveway when you pull up.
Punctuality goes a long way with me. Maybe thats part of the reason I'm NEVER late.

Well I agree, punctuality is important... It was a bad weekend...
On a friday, just before a long weekend - was stuck in traffic, and not used to driving in the location duringthis time... So I barely made it on time...It was bad...
2 Days later... Barely made the tee time again... Out drinking the night before with some friends, too many Corona's... Was sleeping like a baby and never heard the alarm...
Not good excuses, and it messes your entire routine up - NOT to mention your posse's...
...I bought them lunch afterwards... It was the least I could do... :(

Hey buddy, no big deal, but I reserve the right to get on you case about it at any time ;)

I'm also a newbie, but I am in Brampton, and I am an early riser, so if those two offset the first then I'd be delighted to play.

Mind you that's only 3 times in over ten years. He's fixture in our group now, so we'll just have to squeeze all the beer and food from him that we can using the ole guilt card :D
