I guess with all the talk of 'fakes' its a good idea to list real stuff as authentic.

Rick,

I think $200 is a great price considering the $499 at GT (http://www.golftown.com/gtcommerce/stores/1/TaylorMade-R7-TP-Ti-Fairway-Wood-P1494C21.aspx). No?

I owe a couple of folks some pictures of the clubs, and one has submitted an offer for both FWs (pending the pictures). If the deal falls through, I'll contact you.

Thanks for your interest...

Ok Thanks. I'm ok with $200. Please let me know if the deal falls through.

Take care,

Rick

what brand camera lenses are you looking for and for what camera? I may be able to help with that....

Why are you a retailer? I am using Nikon DSLR. There are many things I want to buy but currently put off by the crazy price and taxes here; had the option to go cheap for some (good) glasses, but no warranty... as if they are fake.

But for now, I am just trying to get the money first then decide what to buy.

No, I work directly for a camera company, and I benefit from the employee discount. Sadly, our lenses don't fit Nikons.

Thought I could help.

still have the driver?

golfnut2006
Jul 23, 2007, 01:15 PM
I see. Yeah, I've been using Nikon most of my life. Thought about changing to Canon, but I found 5D or even 1D MarkIII a little bit too hard for my financial well-being. :)

Yes, I still have the driver. Brought it with me to work today, along with other clubs, and I called the guy who's supposedly very interested in it, but so far no call back yet. :((

What is the flex of the shaft?

Yes the high end stuff can get very pricey...plus once you start with a company and invest several thousand in glasses, you can't exactly switch the bodies.

PM me if that driver is still around.

InfranetDog... Apex 3 is equivalent to Regular Flex, I believe. I checked TGW.com and that's what their listing tells me. Hope this helps.

The R7 Quad driver is sold. Everything else is available.

Cheaper grey market glass isn't necessarily fake. it doesn't come with north american warranties because it's meant for sale in the international market but they are still very authentic and made by the same company. sometimes the savings are worth considering. i have a retail 85/1.8 and a grey market 100/2 and can't really tell the difference in quality (both for Canon though).

Understood, DiscoMonkey. You are correct. I, too, have had grey market lens. But it seems that Nikon here in Canada works differently than the one in US.

In US, I could at least send in a lens/camera I purchased in Japan or Singapore for warranty service... as long as I can produce receipt to prove that the item is still within warranty period. But here in Canada, I can't even claim warranty for US lens.

I guess they know we'd rather buy the lens from US... like from amazon.com or even B&H... cheaper as well as tax free! :)
