I'm in the market for a driver and have been eyeing the TM R7. I was considering signing up for a session with the TaylorMade MATT fitting system - where they hook you up and perform a complete analysis of your swing and then suggest a shaft/head combination. The "driver and fairway woods" session is what I was considering. Has anyone out there gone through this process? If so, what did you think? Any thoughts?

This is probably the most sophisticated setup available for a complete analysis of your swing. It's the golf imaging equivalent of a body scanning MRI.
It's just as likely you'll have to see a "doctor" afterwards.

Let us know how it went if you decide to take it.

I know someone who's gone through one of the MATT sessions, and he said it's like being in one of the EA Sports video game design studios.
Apparently you get to wear a nice and tight black outfit, that has little buttons to detail your body movements. The MATT guys then put you in a room where you can hit balls, all of this you can see on a monitor in the room.
If you go through with this, please let us know if your experience is similar and how much you enjoyed putting on the spandex suit.
