What I want to know is how long did you have to put the owners under the big white light before they (I'm sure) relunctantly gave you the rain check to begin with. I don't play Pheasant anymore because of their ridiculous policies. WHy don't you just use the rain checks if they are good for the rest of the year? There is at least 2 months of good golfing weather left and 3 months in total.

Actually, I just told them a friend called me saying he couldn't make it. They gave it to me quite swiftly and without any attitude. I could go play there again, but I'd have to use up a holiday to play during the weekdays, or get someone else to go with me on a weekend, but that's hard since the green fees are so pricey and I don't know too many people willing to dish out a bill just to play.
