This course looks really nice, and the rates can't be beat, especially to what is around the GTA. It's about a 1hr drive from where I am, so I'm tempted to give this track a try...

Played it twice a 6 weeks ago.......they weren't very busy.
The first 5 holes were "so so" (because they had just opened)......the next 13 great.......I imagine they have "matured" since i was there
It rained just prior to our second round, (for the first time in about 3 weeks) and it was amazing to see the change in the course over just 3 days.
Customer service was outstanding .....
The Humongous tee boxes were a nice touch.
A true inland links feel with lots of fescue and little water.....it was an easy course to walk.
"worth the drive past Acton"......
I just googled the course and found yesterdays web review by golfnut Robert Thompson;

Played there today.Fairways must be well watered because they are very green.Greens are medium quick and hold well.Good variety of holes-couple of long Par 3's (245?!).Premium is on ball placement-lots of fescue,lots of bunkers and traps.Paid twilight rate-$21.20!!!!!! and got around in just under 4 hours.Easy course to walk if you play to walk like I do.

Twilight (after 3pm) $26.50 (tax-in) plus $15 pp for Power Cart...plus cost of GAS to London-area
....is there a BETTER value outhere!?:cool:

Well, yes, there is better value, you could save the 15 dollars by walking.

No reason to cart Tarandowah -- not a bad walk on a relatively flat site.

It is a wonderful walk, actually. It puts you in touch with the course and the ideas behind it - not many courses around here have that same "zen satisfaction" effect when walking the contours ...
