Yes, all tickets to the Live 8 concert in Barrie were gone in less than 15 minutes. I'm not sure exactly how many did they actually give away (free via ticketmaster.ca) but now they are worth more even just as memorabilia. And I've got 2! http://www.dnforum.com/images/smilies/grin.gif

This is retarded!!!

I was busy working and didn't realize what time it was until 10:30!!!

Fortunately my wife works at CTV and since they are showing the concert she *might* be able to get us a couple tickets so we can go....

*crosses fingers*

I didn't even bother trying. I'd have left right after the Crue's set anyways.

Well some of us happen to be pretty big fans of "the usual Canadian groups".... well at least some of them...
I am a big OLP and Hip fan...

I got 2 tickets, not sure what I'm going to do yet. I saw them on Ebay for around $450:eek: , before Ebay took the auction down.

I would drive to Barrie for golf but I think I can hold out for this event. All of those who go please let us know if it was worth it. Thanks!

It was worth the drive to Barrie:)

We got to Barrie about an hour after the start, never got stuck in any traffic, no line up for parking & no line to get in. I guess being a little late paid off. Great day, great music glad I decided to go and be part of history.

Highlights: Motley Crue was great really got the audience going. Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Bachman, Deep Durple, Jet and the Hip were all worth the drive.

Lots of eye candy:eek: well worth the drive.........:D :D :D
