Golf school in the U.S.

I have been thinking about attending a one week intensive golf school down in the U.S. in the spring (late April or May), looking at the school at Pinehurst. I wonder if anybody can offer an opinion as to that school or suggestions about another school to attend.

Location is not that important a consideration per se, but my wife will be with me and she is not a golfer so there must be sufficient activities for her. She thinks sun and sand are nice, but not for an entire week. She is also not a shopaholic, so a big outlet mall nearby is also not sufficient as an activity.
