I figure since I just asked about course conditions, I'll post some info on the courses I have most recently played:
Aug 9 - Watson's Glen: Course was in good condition, fescue areas were quite thin due to lack of rain, fairways were still green and in good shape, greens were average speed. A lot of unrepaired ball marks though. Paid $44 for twilight walking, great value! Got around as a single in about 3:15.
Aug 12 - Pheasant Run: Course was very green, fairways were nice, but greens were extremely slow and spongey. Paid $90 walking and our 3-some got around in about 4 hours with minimal waiting. Good pace of play, but not great value.
