So it is now official, we will be hosting a swap meet which was brought up by Biff1 I believe. He has a fantastic Idea.

So it weill be hosted at Swank Golf Studio's on August 29th, starting at 5:30 and running until 9 PM.

Everyone is invited to attend, member or non-member. The only thing I ask is thay you swap Golf Equipment only as htis is a Golf Forum.

I will have a bar-b-q set up with some Hot dogs for everyone as well as some pop.

Geeze,

My house isn't on there either!
This is because most mapping and GIS companies only update their air photos every 2 years. It's just too damn expensive to do it every year :rofl: and before you ask how come 2007 photos aren't available yet, the planes fly in April to get the best images (no more snow and no leaves on the trees make for good ground viewing) and there is a huge amount of post processing that gets done to get the photos ready for commercial use. Having said this, the 07 air photos should be available very soon, just not soon enough for the Swank get together :(.

Thank's to Jeff and his crew @ today's swap meet. To those that didn't come, wow what can I say...to meet Tom Wishon, and Scotty Cameron...not to mention Jesse Ortiz dropping by, well it was a real treat. The tips I gleaned from these guys will go a long way.

Sorry I missed the great event, I swung back home from Collingwood to fulfill my men's league obligation at my course with the intention of returning via Jeff's.

Alas, the Brantford airshow was on and they were flying over the course so we stayed and had dinner and watched the Snowbirds buzz our patio repeatedly. Too good of a free show to leave. By the time I left the course it was 7:30 so....another time.
