Just to let everyone know....
I received excellent service at the Niagara Parks courses today...
We were going to golf Whirlpool with a foursome today... my dad's first round in 4 years.... the other two of our four cancelled last night... and so it was just going to be my dad and I.... About 10 minutes before our tee time another twosome came on and got tagged on to our twosome.. I didn't mind... but my Dad was nervous to begin with and maybe a bit too proud but said he'd bow out and let me go out with them... because he was afraid of embarassing himself... I went and told the proshop manager that it looked liked we'd have to cancel last minute and understood that a refund was probably unlikely and apologized....
When it came out that my dad was uncomfortable playing with others... the manager with some effort made some calls and said while they were all booked up and had to let the other two on.... he asked our preference to another course.... Sure enough with in ten minutes he got us our own tee time on Ussher's Creek... and since we were using an employee's coupon ($39 a golfer) that my sister gave me, which included a cart, we were told that the same rate would be fine there... So we got to play on our own for $78 cart and taxes included on a gorgeous day and a pretty good course.... My dad was a little nervous and with some reason shooting a 134.... but still enjoyed his day... and I managed to quadruple a tiny par 3 on the back to shoot a 93....
Just thought given the excellent service and consideration we were given I should spread the good word as it made a fun round of golf today....
