Are there any other cyclists here that are geeked up about this year's TDF? I know I'll be up on Saturday morning to watch the prologue.
Go Lance !!!

I totally enjoy watching the Tour......I'm not a fanatic cyclist...just ride to the go train station daily....I sure hope Lance wins another one....

Go Lance Go!!!!
Although i should root for Ian Ulrich out of patriotic reasons I'm a big Lance fan. Hope we'll get to celebrate Lance VII at the end.

The mountains will be either where Lance shows that he's again for real or the challengers show they want to win.....

Those last two mountain stages were amazing to watch. It sure looks like Lance will be able to win number 7, barring something crazy in the next week. This past Sunday I was flipping between the Tour and the Open, both made for compelling television.
If Lance can win his 7th, it will be interesting to see who SI's sportsman of the year will be. Him or Tiger.
I know who I would choose...

Well, I watched the Tour de France exclusively. As much as I like golf or The Open ... there's nothing more exciting than the Tour de France.

It's always great when an athlete can end a carreer while still pretty close to, or at the top of their abilities. John Elway comes to mind.
It was great to watch this tour, and I'm glad I taped the final stage. Now I just have to wait for a retrospective DVD set.
Cheers,
Go Leafs Go, Habs suck!

Ranks right up there in terms of pure dominance of a sport. 7 straight titles after overcoming cancer. Simply amazing and kudo's to him. How does he celebrate? Sits on a French beach downing beers with his girl, Cheryl Crow? I would get all the hot girls who give you the flowers on the podium after every stage to come to my house for a nice pool party!!!
