I played Timber Ridge on Saturday, August 25th, with a group of about 20 of my co-workers. Unfortunately it rained on and off during my round dampening the fun abit. That aside, Timber Ridge is a very nice course that I'd like to play again when it's sunny sometime.
Nice course layout with fairly open fairways that really tighten up near the greens. That day the fairways were abit flooded but I could see that on a nice day they were in great shape.
The greens! Very undulating multi-level greens and behind all the greens is heavy stuff so going long is bad, bad, bad. I played with some golfers that have shot in the 70's that were three-putting so practice your putting before playing a round here.
Service was great with people taking your clubs at the bag drop and loading them onto the cart. Food was above average with timely service. The service and everything else about this course could easily justify the use of the word premium.
Give it a try. Definately a course worth trying once.
Regards,
Dan
