Arent all the putters at Golf Town demos?

I mean, isnt the vast majority of their putter stock out in the open to demo. How do they decide what would be part of this "demo" sale and what wouldnt be?

I go to Golf Town twice a week minimum now that its on my walk home from work. I will post if I see the demo sale going on, but like Jayda said, it probably wont be until the end of the season.

good point. It cuts both ways, I suppose. every year I buy stuff from the demo sale that is brand spanking new, including a Macgregor putter in 2005.

Lots of Taylor Made Daytona's and Odyssey 2-balls.

If I remember correctly they were cheap and in really rough shape -- much, much worse that the clubs they have on display.

Do the staff ever get pissed off at you? Hey its the guy the comes in trys the putters but never buys anything. Just asking as I do that aswell when I am in the neighbourhood. I have every intention of buying something but cannot justify more equipment that often does not improve my game. But a putter a reduced price is on my wishlist.

I have never seen anyone from GT get pissed, during the winter were in there at least once a week... we usually spend like 3 or 4 hours in there!!!:shhh:

Some were in rough shape, and some still had the plastic on the grip.

No, the staff are cool. One women always smiles at me, probably laughing at me for going back to back days, like whats going to change from one day to the next.

I do notice the staff never ask me if I need any help anymore. ;) I go it hoping for a good sale. Sometimes Golftown just drops the price just to clear stuff out and I want to be there when it happens. They dont advertise it because they have very low inventories. I got a Callaway driver for $50 and a Nike Hybrid for $50 that way.
