looking for opinions/suggestions on component wedges and shafts to match. i'd like to get a set (gw, sw, and lw) sometime soon. looking for a price point lower than cgxx/vokey, but with comparable quality.

I'm about to get my hands on a set of Infinity wedges as soon as they're built. They also have the spin-milled face and a sweet look. Talk to Kimo62 about it and maybe he can set you up.

I tend to play Mizuno wedges (R and T series) cause every year golf town has them for 69-79 at their year end demo sale in october (mid-late). They all are practically new.
as for performance, I have zero issues with them. They are durable and provide good feel. Not the softest wedge on the market but I am happy with them.
as for you component question...we built an Infiniti 56* wedge with a lighter shaft for my wife (through Swain) and she's happy with the feel, weighting and results. This wedge REPLACED her Volkey. She likes the feel MORE than the Volkey...

THe Snake Eyes tour milled wedges are what I am going with. They have the rough faced surface (milled I guess it is called). They come low bounce and high bounce ranging from 51 degrees to 60. Check it out on golfsmith.com
