Currently looking at a set of clubs on the net, they are what I am looking for, other than the fact that they are 1" longer than standard, but with standard lie ect. My question is, do you think they will be suitable considering I am 6' tall, and my current clubs I grip right at the end, to be length comfortable. I am thinking I should be OK, am I missing something.

I believe the length of the clubs should be determined by your athletic posture when preparing to strike the ball. This may mean that you require +1 inch or +1/2 inch, +1/4 inch. The best way to find out is to get fit.

You'll need your wrist to floor measurements to get the correct club length. Take a tape measure and measure the distance between your wrist and floor. There's a table somewhere on the net that tells you what adjustment of length that is required for any given wrist to floor measurement.

I'm 6'2" and I needed only + 1/2" increase in length but lies were adjusted 2* upright.

Ping golf has a web-fit tool that can recommend a length based on your wrist to floor. The only issue you may have, is if you have to shorten the clubs (which is really easy to do) the swing weight will change (3 points per 1/2 inch is a basic guideline). Lead tape can correct that (2 grams is approx one swing weight). One other variable - length can effect the lie. 1" is equal to about 1* with longer being more upright.

I think they will likely fit you just fine.

If not, I play my clubs 1" over - what sticks are you picking up :D
