I go there regularly to shop, but I won't go back for shafting (pun intended).
I had a Cally 454 done reshafted (stock to NVS) a couple years ago. It was a real sloppy job. The bore-thru end was uneven, and the sole was scratched up in several places around the bore hole from the guy trying to smooth out the end.

I suggest you go see our resident club guru Swaaain. He can take care of all of your needs, not to mention the studio is a cool place to chill while you wait. If you want a big box store job done, hit GT. If you want that real nice job done, go hit up the studio.:D

Wanna save the trip (cause public transit cant be fun) ship it same day courier. I'm certain Swain will courier it back to you.

anyone have experience with them?Jeff at the Swain Studio will do a better job than a big box retailer, plus you get to say your club was 'pimped'.

Take it to Jeff, don't send it - he needs to review the flex and length with you + grip size, and put a properly profiled shaft - that fits your needs - into your club. You will be pleased.

Sending it to Swaain is probably your best bet.
However, I did want to say that I did have problems in the past with work done at the GTown downtown. That guy is no longer there and Matthew has been doing my work now and has done a real fine job.
It is also on my way to work and it is just the simplest and easiest way for me to get my stuff tweaked.

If you are set on GT doing an install...then the dundas/403 store is the only one i would go to. Otherwise use one of our sponsors.

Not everyone gets to say that!

Awesome advice!

There is only one "official" club fitting sponsor, Jeff. Jeff does awesome work.
...........And, there is a rumour that the first two posters that I quoted may be able to assist.

however, Jeff at swank tweaked a putter for me and it just feels amazing, making more putts and less three putts, anytime I need work done in the future that is where I will go.
