I have had the opportunity to play with a wanna be celebrity in LA and have read some good stories on another site about average Joes getting paired with celebrities... any stories from the T dot?

Does Greg Millen count? If he does, then I've had the good fortune to play with Greg several times this summer. :D

A few years ago the company I worked for was a corporate sponsor of Save The Children Canada. Their spokesman for many years was Ernie Coombs "Mr. Dressup", who died a few years previously. We helped organize an Ernie Coombs memorial golf tournament. A number of CBC celebrities took part. my cart partner for the day was Steve Smith "Red Green".
He was a very nice guy and we had agood time together. He was also a pretty good golfer, especially considering that he had only taken up the game only about five years previously.

Twice that I remember, and they were both at Flemingdon of all places.
The late Jack Duffy once, and another time Eugene Levy. Eugene wore a hat with a big "E" emblazoned on the front (try thinking of something that begins with "E" other than Edinburgh, East York, and Eugene). He was pleasant but not what you'd call funny or witty, and not a great golfer by any means.
Although his famous eyebrows were always working, he only made me laugh once, when I missed a 3' putt. He just looked at me and said "Ouch" but the timing was so perfect you knew you were in the presence of talent.

Got paired-up with actor Jeremy London ("Party of Five"/"Mallrats") at Don Valley back around 1997....he told me the director of the TV movie he was filming in town, loaned him some clubs, and dropped him off at the course.
Guess it was a Low Budget flick. :p
Nice guy, good golfer, looking at his bio, looks like he's had some "Celebrity Justice" issues!? :$

I once was walking side by side with Jason Zuback and then Amy Mickelson in the gallery at the Maters. Does that count? They are both shorter thatn I expected. In the case of Amy, she is absolutely tiny.

Do Adrian Aucoin and Marc Savard count? They're buddies of mine from my minor hockey days in Gloucester. I've also played a few times with Ted Nolan down in the Falls. His son can CRUSH the ball about 325 consistently.

I chatted briefly with Ron Tugnutt (former nhl goalie) at Wildfire two summers ago. About 7 years ago, I was right behind Vincent Damphousse at Tremblant on the practice range and in the group behind them on the course.

I was playing a few years ago at Deer Ridge in Kitchener and Dennis Quaid was practicing on one of the greens. When we approached the green, he asked if he could play a few with us, and obviously we agreed. He was a great guy, very nice and a pretty good player.

Shopped with Frank Mahovolich at the Greg Norman outlet store at the Cabazon Outlet Mall outside Palm Springs.
Then had a chance to discuss putters with Super Dave Osborne at California Golf in Palm Desert.
Most exciting moment...holding door open for Heather Locklear, as she was walking out, at a Starbucks on Melrose in LA. She was smoking hot!

Got to play behind Samuel L Jackson at Osprey last year. He has a place in Caledon somewhere. Looks like he hits the ball pretty good, too. He rode out of there in a tricked out 911 as soon as he finished. Apparently his round at the pulpit got snafu'ed so he went to the 'sprey.....

I was paired with Jim McKenny (former Leaf and City TV sports broadcaster) and his wife at National Pines about 10 years ago now. He played the tips and could just smoke the ball off the tee.
That same year, same course we had a tournament and afterwards in walks Doug Gilmour, Jamie McCoun and Nickolei Borshevski and a couple of others. Their training camp was in Barrie and they were there for a round and came into the banquet room to say hello.

McKenny was on the same flight as us down to Raleigh a few years ago (we were going to Myrtle, he was going to Pinehurst). My dad played a round with him about 30 years ago. I still have the dollar bill he autographed for my dad.

Hey, assuming that 'dollar bill' was an AMERICAN dollar bill (not likely Canadian), get rid of it....
.....it's not only worth less than it was "a few years ago", but it's ILLEGAL to write on US currency!

The man diverts MILLIONS from we the taxpayers into the pockets of his buddies in Quebec and you would class him as a celebrity. If you want to start a new Thread entitled "Has anybody been grouped with a Sleaze Bag", then we have a category for crooks and low lifes like Jean Crouton! Its nice to see that even the Quebec voters are getting wise to Liberal corruption and shut them out in the by elections. Oh, don't get me started!

Not in the Toronto area, but I've been lucky enough to play Latrobe Country Club a few times.
We had Mr. Palmer and his entourage play through us one day then sat at the table next to him in the grill room. Very cool....
This was prolly 6 years ago now - I was shocked how far he hit it, even in his mid-70's !
