Doesn't do launch angle, but does do swing path, swing speed, clubface angle.
Anyone seen this before?

You have to know how accurate [repeatability and reproducibility] it is.
Most of the sims and some of the launch monitors are basically garbage.
They just convey the illusion of technology, and don't replicate real world.
fb once went on a sim during the winter when he changed from strong grip to neutral. The sim showed he was hitting real straight. A month later the snow went away and his shots were brutally aweful with the neutral grip. The sim gave himself the wrong feedback. He eventually got to neutral hitting off grass and not a mat.
Save your money, unless you want to mess up your swing over the winter.

IMO, that's a very general blanket statement. You made the jump from "one simulator is bad" to all simulators are bad. I sure hope that there will be affordable technology for me to use at home to practice in the winter.
I was hoping that someone on here has seen or used this product to provide some feedback :)

I would have to agree with Harry. All simulators I have ever used show me hitting a straight to a draw on all my drives. I know that is completely opposite to what I would hit. Which is a fade to a slice with about one in 8 drives going straight.
The simulators and launch monitors that I used at a fitter seemed close but even those ones would show me hitting draws. Nothing will ever beat or can be trusted as much as seeing your true ball flight outside. In desparation I tried playing golf simulators last winter. I thinkthat I will give it a rest this winter and just accept that golf season does end.
Just to add. There is no way that something that costs $400 will accurately simulate your swing results.

Scotland was the hitting / data collection area. We needed precise data to find statistical correlations but didn't want to spend the time consuming hours physically measuring each ball hit. We had National Squad players to hit the clubs, and a pretty good launch monitor in its day. The 1st National Team player comes in and the LM says he is hitting a fade. He said this can't be true I always hit a draw. The guy takes the LM outside and sets it up again, and he gets to hit off of real grass. He hits consecutive draws and the LM is still recording fades. The only LM I know that is truly accurate for research and maybe fitting is the TrackMan but at $25,000 USD a unit it is cost prohibitive for most shops, plus you hit outside and not into a net as it tracks the full flight of the ball.
... for me to use at home to practice in the winter.Give your buddy $400 under the table and he will get you hitting the ball better than spending $400 on something that just might wreck what you have

argh... guess it just might be better to spend it on a golf trip to a warm area :D

An option would be to find a simulator to use under the watchful eye of a pro. I did this last winter (at Tee's Indoor Golf in Mississauga) and will do so again this year. Having someone to spot the flaws can pretty much override any quirks a simulator may have...

AlanA better option [if you want to part with $400] is to invest in a good video camera where you can tape your swing and go frame-by-frame to check posture ... now you have something worthwhile for the golf coach to review with you :D :D :D
If a simulator doesn't have data integrity then it has no useful purpose for training

Just to add. There is no way that something that costs $400 will accurately simulate your swing results. When it comes to using a simulator as a teaching or club evaluation tool, most golfers do not use it correctly. They evaluate based on the ball flight they see on the screen and the yardage the simulator shows, instead of on the raw data that was collected.
The ball flight and distance numbers you see on the screen is just the simulator's interpretation of the data collected. That's fine if you're just using the simulator for entertainment, but if you're using it as a teaching or product evaluation tool - then you should forget the picture and concentrate solely on the raw data on launch angle, swing path, swing speed, clubface angle, etc.
IOW, if you're trying to correct an OTT swing that causes you to slice, you should probably be looking solely at the swing path data and forget what ball flight the simulator shows you. In some cases it can be better than swinging outside, since it elimates other factors that cause a slice like an open clubface.
