I'm going to be getting my clubs re-gripped soon. Just wondered if anyone has any absolute advice as to sizing. Is it all just a matter of the length of my fingers? I'm thinking grip masters. They come in a .58 and .60 size. Right now I've got golf pride tour wraps on with 1 wrap. I got them strictly on feel, but would like to go a little more scientific this time. Maybe a link to a website with sizing tips. Thanks in advance.

It all boils down to what you like. The chart says I'm 1/64th undersize and I put two wraps of tape under my grip to make it slightly bigger than standard.

outside of extreme size cases and cases where there may be a physical limitation due to injury , arthritis etc....

from my perspective there are two ways to choose a grip

one based on measurements the other based on feel and comfort

I prefer to use the latter......letting the person try a number of grips of varying componds, tapers and size and decide which one they like best

I am always leary of building up grips and oversized grips for the average golfer as it can restrict the release
