I am very comfortable hitting my 5 wood and 7 wood. Hit them much better than my Ben Hogan #3 and #5 hybrids.
Thinking about adding a 9 wood instead of choking up on my 7 wood.

I know Vijay carried a 9 wood in his bag for a while. So if its ok for Vij then some of us guys need to cast our "egos" aside and think about having one in our bag..

Problem is when checking out the GT website I could only find one Mens 9 wood and it is offered by Wilson Staff. This 9 wood has a graphite shaft and I would like a steel shaft as all my irons and woods are steel shaft.

Any advice on where to find a steel shafted Mens 9 wood.....??

I have a Callaway Steelhead Plus 9-wood with a steel shaft, and I know that Callaway still has 9-woods in their newer models. You'll probably have to go the manufacturer's websites or to a retail store to find them.

Thats right. I've seen a mens Callaway X 9 wood. Only in the graphite shaft though. Haven't seen one with a steel shaft.

If you are in or close to Ottawa, check out Golfworks. They probably have a 9W component head available. You can also select your favourite steel wood shaft and have them assembled.

If you look at components, I know Wishon has 9Ws in the 915HL and 915FH available. I also believe Bang Golf has 9Ws. (not sure which models though)

Nothing wrong with hitting a 9wood! It's just another lofted wood that can save your score like any other. My son exchanged his cobra version for the Callaway Heavenwood model and easily powers 190 from the rough,so they work and that's all that matters.
