made an observation today while taking a few swings...
i noticed that if my grip gets too much in the palm of my left hand (for example, when the grip runs through about an inch below the pinky and through the first pad on the index finger), the release of the club sometimes gets "caught" and goes through impact wide open causing a shot that resembles a shank off the hosel. the ball goes low and way off right. this horrible shot creeps into my swing sometimes and i think this is a big cause of it. shows you what a small loss of focus can do to your game.
just thought i'd share...
