I have a delema:confused:

yesterday in my round at lakeridge with two friends we ran into a problem.

just to explain quickly, aside from the cash we play for we always have a side bet. we have four cards 1 unplayable or lost, 2 sand , 3 water and 4 three putt.

the last person to do any of these 4 things holds the card and if your holding any or all cards at the end of the game you have to pay all other players $5 per card .

its alot of fun

now are problem

we ended up on the 18th hole i was aprox 30 feet away from the pin and my friend was about 40 feet away . he hit his around 15 feet away then i hit mine with my purse to around 10 feet. he then hit it around 4 feet away and i hit it just beside the cup.

who should get the card? or should we split it?

does anyone know the answer ?

by the way , i gave them the five bucks for the card, i wasn't in the mood to argue.

but i don't believe i should have lost, considering that i putted better then him on that hole. I was penilized for playing better!!!:help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

did he make the 4 ft putt?
if so, he is in the hole first then you are last and holding the card:rolleyes:
looks like you gotta pay up:D

He was at 40 feet and you were at 30 feet? In situations like this, we have used the "closest to" person as being the one that gets the card...logic being, you were closer, so shouldn't have 3-putted. It's not concrete logic, but it works...

I wouldn't say you putted better though, based on your description. I like the idea of last person to 3-putt as well...

I like no backs response.

If you were that much better... you would have sunk your putt.

Sooner or later ... it will all even out anyways.

Actually you didn't really play better. They only could how many, not how.

yes - you lose - but remember next time, the one who is farthest from the hole starts the putting and "has the option" to continue - next time, take the option and finish first - then if you both 3 putt, he 3 putts last (technically) and he gets the card!!

Trying to make it to 50 posts ...:)
