Tee up on #4 today with my driver take a big swing and my club head(Callaway Ti 454) goes further then the ball. It broke off maybe half an inch above the hosel.

So on one hand I'm tempted to send it back to Callaway to get the stock reg flex shaft put back on because then the club will be the same as it was which is what I am used too. However I do also have the opportunity to re-shaft it with something else. I just don't know anything about shafts really to even have an idea what to look for or what would be good.

Not looking to spend a ton on a new shaft either.

Haps, Contact Callaway Golf I'm sure they will replace the shaft free of charge. You could even request a shaft fitting, state you think the shaft might not have been good for you and they will probaly invite you over to determine what's best for you. Callaway customer service is the best in the business. Good Luck

Actually the fitting center might be the best idea. Been meaning to get down to Toronto to do that. Just haven't had a chance yet.

But I can go awhile without my driver. Probably only hit it a dozen times on the course this year. Have been trying to control my game this year and have been playing an all iron game.
