wondering if the below sensation at the top of the backswing with a neutral grip is the correct one....
with a neutral grip, in trying to get a flat left wrist at the top, i feel a slight amount of tension on the left wrist/forearm (almost as if it wants to get pulled back to square) and my right wrist feels as though it's in a position that would allow me to hold a tray up like a waitor (palm up, wrist bent straight back). also, on the way back, my clubface tends to appear more closed until the right arm really starts folding. then, it turns to be inline with my left forearm at the top.
if i don't get into that position, i find that i have to think about turning my left forearm to square up the face on the way down.

nevermind...found the answer and it is the correct sensation for a neutral grip. i'll keep working on it. :D
i've been cupping my left wrist in my backswing (quite a bit), as is normal for a strong grip that i used to have. must break that habit!

I actually find that if I concentrate on feeling this sensation, my wrist cock is much more controlled at the top. With a broken left wrist, my club had a lot of movement at the top of my swing. Flattening out my wrist at the top has created a very controlled club at the top of the swing.

for me it's been when i start moving down that i lose control. with the cupped left wrist, my hands would turn with the initiation of the downswing and fan the clubface wide open. with a flat left wrist, it seems impossible for that to happen.
now, i can stop thinking about squaring up the face with my left arm action and just let it fly.

Im "almost" there myself.
Always cupped a touch at the top with my old school swing, but now am reallty trying to get it flat.
Flattening it really helps me from getting stuck on the downswing, which, when I get stuck, then causes me into a slight flip at impact and therefore a slight power leak.
