Looking for advice - Ping irons as a gift

I want to get my hubby some Ping irons for his birthday - a couple of questions: anyone have experience buying in the Buffalo area? Given the dollar, thought it might be worth a shot. Number 2: he's a strong novice (usually in the 85-95 range) - suggestions on which irons to look at? Thanks in advance!!

And yes, my nickname for him is 'bunkerboy', hence the moniker.

Ping usually has a fitting system I think they are based in Oakville (not sure) My mother got my dad a set for his retirement. but She scheduled a fitting for him then supprised hip by droping him off at the fitting and had the clubs built for him. I do not believe the fitting costs anything additional to the cost of the irons, but it turns the gift into a whole experience that he will never forget.
