After going through a phase of collecting putters this summer, I've moved my attention on to wedges. I took some pics in the backyard today of what I have so far. I do have 4 other wedges coming including Chikara Prototypes by Carl Masui but for now this is what I've been experimenting with:

1. Mizuno Japan Prototype TW Grind 58* Black Oxide finish
2. Srixon XXIO 45 Wedge 54* Flat Black
3. Gauge Design By Carl Masui 57* Hand grind raw
4. Gauge Design By Carl Masui 58* Hand grind raw
5. Yururi Seida Wedge 60* Gun Blue by Jeff Shuster
6. Grind Studio Prototype 50* Raw Hand Grind by Tomaru-san
7. Epon X Model 52* Copper
8. Sky Dream Jump D-Tour 58* Black Oxide JLPGA Tour
9. Scratch Inpakuto Prototype 46* PW Raw PDG Hand grind for me
10. Fourteen MT28 J Spec 50* No Make
11. Epon Technity 56* Flat Black
12 PRGR R35 Chipper Wedge

I think I'll be refinishing the 58* Carl wedge that has massive heel relief grind as it's gotten a bit dinged up over time and rusted. All wedges except for the chipper are forged so you can clearly tell which have been heavily used and which I just got... :D

There are a ton of vokey protos floating around in Japan. I may grab a few just to compare.

Your posts always make my bag feel lacking....:(

I have heard nothing but the best reviews for the Chikara wedges Carl seems to be a cult hero!!

It still blows my mind that this is your first full time year playing golf!!

Great pics... as usual!!

Gocchin, the prgr chipper looks interesting. Is it like one of those chipper/putter thingys? I friend used to carry one years ago. He stopped carrying it as he found it wasn't versatile enough.

Hi,
Man, I hope I can get some of your hand-me downs. I am using a "USED" ping 56* wedge.

Yeah it's pretty much a chipper. It's pretty useful 5-10 yards outside the green but otherwise that's it. Pretty straight and accurate though.
