Watched this show with some optimism - thinking that this could be this year's Heroes.
What a downer...The main character was fine, unfortunately, the supporting cast are all third rate and totally unbelievable.
Ended up watching Greygoose 19th Hole.

Very Mediocre.... Jaime Summers is very plain looking to me also.... Add to that I wonder if they also implanted a Bionic Fighting Chip in her also, as she not only has the strength but somehow mad fighting skills too.....
Of course I only watched bits and pieces as I tidied up the house.... Did I miss something?

You missed nothing...It was a below average show.

Maybe I am just more sensitive to low-brow entertainment, but hot women fighting each other, sounds like all the plot I need.
I think they could do interesting things with the show... but yeah, the dialogue needs a lot of work, didn't really seem like they had much to work with.
I liked Michelle Ryan though, she's a fox.

I agree.. I was expecting more.
However I have read leading up to the premier that they were having issues behind the scene's. Stuff like the network trying to get too involved with the show production.
That type of stuff can always affect the show.
Hopefully the upcoming episodes are better. It seems they rushed the intro a bit too much.

started watching it but the main character can't act. I very quickly lost interest and turned the channel.

Can't act, or was just given poor material to work with? I thought the dialogue was pretty weak... and the first episode probably should have been 2 hours to allow for more character development.
I'll give it a chance. There is almost nothing else to choose from these days... if they don't make it better after a couple episodes.. it'll get yanked for sure.

I thought it had some potential... Agree that it should have been 2 hrs, as they tried to pack alot into the first episode.
I'll keep watching, just to see where they take the story line...

our household was watching Private Practice at the same time...may grab the episode off iTunes to see if Bionic woman is worth following.
as for another new show I'm more intrigued by Journeyman. It had a decent pilot on Monday and has gotten me to actually set the PVR to record it and give it a try.
Tonight, I'm a bit hyped about Big Shots....glad this season the reality shows are less prominent.

Tonight is CSI Las Vegas season premiere!!!! Nothing can displace that for me :)
I saw first 40 min of Journeyman, I am not sure what to make of it yet. I do love the San Francisco background though.

journeyman isn't spectacular...Slow start, but the last 15 minutes were solid...especially when Livia turned out to be a "journeywoman" also.

Try Reaper or Chuck. Funny enough it's like watching the same show but it isn't. Both have shoot from the hip humour. I like the Reaper pilot better, but probably because it was directed by Kevin Smith. Lots of great one-liners. We'll see if it holds up.
