All kidding aside, I'm quite surprised ADMIN let that name stand.

It's pretty harsh....albeit it's not the correct spelling, but we are't standing outside a dep in kweebek, smoking cigs and eatin' Joe Louis'.

my favorite all time was on another board, a guy called himself "Moby Coliss"

i guess it's not funny unless you have some francophone roots....

as in "I'm a player de hockey, i shoots da puck pass da goaler to make da scores"

There will be an optional Skins game as usual. Blue tees for all participants.

I was also thinking of having a net game for anyone who wants to participate.
The cost will be $5.00, again optional. You can play from any tee you want. You have to declare your handicap when you sign up. We will trust and help you determine a handicap IF you do not know yours. The breakdown will be - 1st low net - 50%, 2nd low net - 30%, 3rd low net 20%.

This is strictly an optional fun competition. All we ask is that you have to finish a hole and record the exact score. I hope most of you will participate in this as everyone has a chance to win especially the higher handicappers.

I don't think this would be fair to those that are comfortable playing from the whites....forward blocks don't necessarily translate to a guaranteed skin, just means the player(s) will have a better game if not forced to play from a set of blocks that they are not comfortable with.

I am not sure but when you were running the skin games in all our outings, were playing from which tee box optional? I am just going by what I thought was the norm.
I personally do not care one way or the other. You still have to get the ball in the hole:D

I absolutely gave the players the option, based on their skill. Majority decided that they were comfortable playing from the same tee blocks, but just ask gnarlywabbit yerself. She wanted to play, but wasn't sure about the blocks, I told her to play where she was comfortable from.

That being said, my back hurts so I'm playing from the Reds. :D

Optional it is then.
Looking at the list, the Mrs is coming too so I guess you want to play from the Reds either to show her how good a golfer you truly are or being newly married you want to spend every precious minute with her.

All kidding aside, I actually have a lot of fun playing golf with my wife, she's fun to watch.

Kinda reminds me of when I'm playing golf with some of the boys from this site and how similar their swings/games are.

Just to get all the disclaimers out of the way, my back also hurts. It always does, and I want everyone to know that.

Plus I'm old and stiff, and my 'A' game, on the best possible day I could ever have, consists of brief and unsustained moments of semi-competency.

I could do worse, however. Bring it.
